How to add words

Pick a theme to fill in the title and words below — edit them freely.

How to use

  1. Paste your word list, choose the puzzle language (English, Korean, or Japanese) and a difficulty, then press Make. The grid size is suggested automatically and you can fine-tune it.
  2. Drag across the grid or tap the first and last letter of a word to find it. You can also play entirely by keyboard, and a hint reveals the first letter when you're stuck.
  3. Once every word is found, your time is saved — share the exact same puzzle by link or QR code, or print it on A4 with an answer sheet included.

FAQ

Is the word search maker free?

Yes. You can make, print, and share word search puzzles for free, with no sign-up and no install. There is no paywall on printing or on the answer key.

How do I make a word search from my own words?

Paste your words separated by line breaks or commas, choose the puzzle language, difficulty, and grid size, then press Make and the puzzle appears instantly. The same code always reopens the exact same puzzle.

Can I print it on A4 with an answer key?

Yes. It prints as a printable word search that fits a single A4 page, and an answer sheet is included by default. There is also a large-print option for seniors and younger kids.

Which languages can the grid use?

The grid supports English, Korean (Hangul), and Japanese (hiragana or katakana). The puzzle language is chosen independently of the interface language, so you can build an English word search from a Korean or Japanese interface.

How do I share a puzzle I made?

A single link or QR code carries the whole puzzle. When someone opens the link or scans the QR code, the exact same puzzle opens right in their browser — no server needed.

Do I need an account or an app?

No. It runs right in your browser, and the puzzles and records you create are stored on your own device. No account, no app.
