How it works

  1. Pick a grid size and difficulty, or paste a shared puzzle code, and press Start.
  2. The numbers on each row and column give the lengths of the consecutive filled runs in that line. Fill the cells you can prove, mark the rest with X, and narrow it down — drag to paint several cells at once.
  3. When you finish, save your time to the rankings, share the exact puzzle by link or QR, or print it on A4 with an answer sheet.

What is a nonogram?

A nonogram is a logic puzzle where the number clues on the rows and columns tell you which cells to fill, gradually revealing a hidden picture or pattern. The same puzzle type is also known as griddlers. Each number gives the length of a consecutive run of filled cells in that line.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Completely free, with no sign-up and no install. Puzzles are generated right in your browser, and there is no limit on how many you solve or print.

Will I ever have to guess?

No. Every puzzle is verified at generation time to be solvable from start to finish using row and column logic alone. You can always prove the next cell without guessing.

Can I print puzzles on A4? With answers?

Yes. Each sheet fits one clued puzzle on a single A4 page, and the answer sheet is included by default. There is also a large-print option for seniors and younger kids.

How do I race someone on the same puzzle?

Every puzzle has a code that carries the whole board. Send the link or QR code and the other person plays the exact same puzzle, with a global leaderboard just for that puzzle. There is also a weekly challenge that opens ten fresh puzzles across every size and difficulty.

What are picture puzzles?

Hand-crafted boards that reveal a picture when solved — a heart, a cat, a rocket, and more. They play exactly like regular puzzles, pure logic all the way. The picture stays a secret until you finish, so the cards show only the name and size.

Is anything stored on a server?

Playing happens entirely in your browser — your preferences, puzzles in progress, and local records stay in your device's local storage. Only when you submit a record to the global ranking are your nickname, record, and puzzle code stored on a server and shown on the public board.
